Jiacheng Han
During my master’s studies, I specialized in agricultural microbial resource mining and became proficient in a full spectrum of core experimental techniques, including microbial isolation, cultivation, functional evaluation, and novel species identification. This experience laid a solid foundation for my future research.
From 2023 to 2025, I worked at the Fudan Microbiome Center, where I successfully isolated and cultivated over 2,700 strains of common human gut microbes spanning nearly 200 species. I contributed to building a human gut microbial resource library and helped develop a standardized technical system for microbial isolation, identification, and preservation.
Currently, in my doctoral program, I am focused on the systematic refinement of the gut microbial resource library, the in‑depth mining of cultivable gut microbial resources, and the screening and development of high‑performance probiotics. My research aims to strengthen the material foundation for basic research and translational applications in human health, and to facilitate new breakthroughs in gut microbiome studies.
