During my undergraduate studies, my research primarily focused on synthetic biology and microbial metabolic engineering. I participated in a project investigating probiotic outer membrane vesicle-mediated targeted therapy for colorectal cancer, while my graduation thesis centered on the construction of the xylose metabolic pathway in stress-resistant Pediococcus acidilactici, through which I acquired a foundation in microbial metabolism and genome editing.
Looking ahead, I aspire to focus on gut microbiome research during my doctoral studies, with the aim of elucidating the mechanisms underlying the interactions between gut microbiota and host health and disease.
